Conclusions

Based on the data provided, most detections occur in colder winter months, so a lower temperature is correlated to more bird flu dections, and a higher temperature has lower counts of bird flu. In cold months, there is a peak of bird flu in mallard cases. Because higher Avian flu rates occur in Michigan in mallard ducks in colder months, it could reflect on the higher ates of infeciton of virus in cold colimates, or bird migration patterns.
